Classes are run four mornings a week and last one hour.
Allstart with a warm-up, mobilising the major joints, raising the pulse
and getting the body ready for the workout.

During the workout itself, we employ many techniques to maximise calorie burn and tone fat burning muscles.  Medicine balls, resistance bands, boxing, skipping, bodyweight, kettlebells and even using the park ditch (!) will all play a part.

Classes are changed on a regular basis in order to keep your body
guessing, this way it uses more calories and keeps the class motivated.

ParkFit embraces the concept of interval training – periods of high intensity mixed with exercises of lower aerobic intensity to build muscle strength.

A real camaraderie builds up within the class and no time is wasted
moving from one exercise to the next. Individuals are encouraged to
focus on their own goals as there are so many different fitness levels within the group. But members are reminded that the harder they work, the greater the rewards.

After each class, I promise everyone who has taken part will feel a
real sense of achievement.

Along with the weekly ParkFit sessions, there are 'weekenders'.
The first Bootcamp weekend took place in May 2011 and involved sessions of Boxing, Circuit Training, Running, a Power Walk and three Yoga sessions.

Everyone had the chance to take part in all the sessions and yoga provided a great balance to the cardiovascular exercise - allowing for relaxation and stretching the fatigued muscles. Guests enjoyed an excellent choice of food and the evenings were most entertaining! Here are some quotes from those who took part:

'I had a fantastic weekend and can't wait to do it again.'

'A really brilliant weekend, I absolutely loved it... please count me in for the next one.'

'Thank you for all your hard work and organisation.'
