The focus is on functional training and developing a strong core which is fundamental to building strength and endurance and improving cardiovascular health and fitness. 

Functional training focuses on exercising and strengthening several muscles & joints together to help burn calories more efficiently and help people perform their daily tasks with greater ease.

I can visit you at your home or other chosen venue, bringing equipment such as; swiss ball, BOSU trainer, dumbbells, medicine balls, kettle bells, resistance bands, ropes, boxing and kickboxing kit.

During your initial FREE consultation, I will assess your current state of health and define what you would like to achieve, drawing up short and long term goals.  Your fitness will be assessed in the first session to enable a safe and effective exercise programme bespoke to you.

I have a background in County hockey, athletics and cross country.  I was also fitness coach to my University hockey team.

After a career in the Probation Service resettling offenders in the community, I changed tack and worked my way up to be a TV Producer at a large London advertising agency.

After the birth of my two children I retrained (again!) to become a Personal Trainer, before setting up my own Personal Training business and ParkFit.

I run for Chiltern Harriers AC and frequently compete in 5km, 10km, half-marathons and cross-country races.  I have run two London marathons and one Brighton marathon. My best time is 3hrs 18mins and I would dearly love to beat this sometime in the near future!

I aim to pass on my passion for physical exercise to everyone I have the pleasure of working with.

I am a REPS Level 3 PT and have qualifications in boxercise, kickboxercise and personal training boxercise, circuit training,

, kettlebell training, nutrition and weight management.
